dcsctp: Rate limit duplicate FORWARD-TSN chunks In commit 0ca62e3752149ad37f73bf074db0a5f8fcaf6585, rate limiting of FORWARD-TSNs were added to at most one per min(200ms, srtt), regardless of whether it advanced the cumulative TSN or not. RFC 3758 section 3.5 (C3) says that a FORWARD-TSN MUST be sent when the Advanced.Peer.Ack.Point advances and the implementation note about waiting an RTT only applies to duplicate FORWARD-TSN chunks. This was not considered at that time. If there is frequent packet loss, and messages were sent with limited reliability, this delayed every FORWARD-TSN that followed another one within the interval, and each such delay blocked the receiver from delivering messages on ordered streams for up to 200ms. This aligns with how FreeBSD handles rate limiting of FORWARD-TSN. WebRTC is a free, open software project that provides browsers and mobile applications with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities via simple APIs. The WebRTC components have been optimized to best serve this purpose.
Our mission: To enable rich, high-quality RTC applications to be developed for the browser, mobile platforms, and IoT devices, and allow them all to communicate via a common set of protocols.
The WebRTC initiative is a project supported by Google, Mozilla and Opera, amongst others.
